Digital copy

The online archive. Sporadically updated with choice morsels from websites and banners of yesteryear.

Greater jobs

Greater.jobs is a website that promotes public sector jobs in the North West of England. It’s run by 12 local authorities, which means a lot of stakeholders.

Luckily, all of them were happy with the branding we created, and the master copy I wrote for this modular site.

Tìr-Dhàimh

It’s a rare client asks for copy to evoke romanticism and modernity, especially when you’re talking fashion rather than literary movements. But that’s exactly what writing for Tìr-Dhàimh called for. It was a real joy — not least because it introduced me to my new favourite candle.

This project was about creating functional, SEO copy without losing the sense of indulgence and sophistication so important in the luxury sector.

ITV
Careers website

My favourite page from the very first website I ever wrote. No, really. This was a factoid page designed to excite and inform prospective candidates with lesser known facts about ITV.

Ah, 2011. It was a different time, when parallax scrolls were new and exciting, and could net you an award or two. Surprisingly, the content still holds up (even with those sick topical Downton Abbey references).

RBS
Early careers

The graduates and interns who joined RBS in the wake of the financial crisis would shape a stronger bank for the future. That was the message at the centre of the bank’s early careers campaign.

I didn’t come up with the idea, but I did write the web content for the UK, US and APAC websites, plus populate a Facebook frictionless sharing app for school leavers.
